The child of two attorneys, Alex didn't always plan to practice law-he started out in film school at American University in Washington, D.C. But, during a college summer spent working with his mother as she built a new practice, the law won him over. Today, he combines his film school experience with his legal education and practice experience to strengthen his trial presentation skills and enhance other areas of his legal practice.

Alex graduated cum laude from Georgia State University School of Law in June of 2013. While studying law, Alex was a member of the Moot Court Board and served as an Honor Court Justice. In addition to being a member of the State Bar of Georgia, Alex also belongs to the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association and the American Association for Justice In the fall of 2015, Alex was selected as member of the 2015-2016 Georgia Trial Lawyers Association's Leadership Education & Advanced Direction (LEAD) class. Alex is also an instructor in the Keenan Trial Institute, teaching trial skills to other personal injury lawyers.

In addition to working on his own cases, other personal injury lawyers frequently hire Alex to conduct jury focus groups for their own cases. Alex helps these attorneys prepare and present their case to a mock jury panel to obtain feedback about the case and help those attorneys refine their trial presentations. Alex conducts approximately fifty of these focus groups per year. In doing these focus groups, Alex is able to continually hone his own skills and learn from other successful attorneys ways to improve his own clients' cases.

A lifelong Georgia resident, Alex grew up in Atlanta and met his wife Melissa at Georgia State University during law school. They currently live in Brookhaven with their two children and dog. When not spending time with his family, Alex can usually be found at a Braves game, fishing, or hunting.
